The Typography of New York Times Magazine
I really like the new design to the New York Times Magazine. I believe last week was the first with the new design. The design is not a total redesign, just a few things moved around and the typography has changed a little as well.
I have always enjoyed the typography in the magazine. They have no fear of leaving white space which is wonderful. The bold all cap type set in different
sizes and colors is a refreshing change as well. Typography can really set the mood of a story or work well with a photo. Whoever does the page layout for the magazine deserves some praise! They put these elements together very nicely.
